Part of the Family was created out of the desire to provide exceptional personalized services and assistance to seniors, family members and caregivers in the Bluffton and Hilton Head community who may find themselves needing a little extra support. Part of the Family is knowledgeable and understanding in the changes and challenges that aging can bring. Whether you are walking through the dementia journey or finding it harder to complete daily tasks, we act in the best interest of each client so that they may live their best life possible.
Meet Libby
Libby Gilden founded Part of the Family to address an essential need in the Bluffton and Hilton Head community: dementia care support and quality non- medical personalized services specifically tailored to seniors. Inspired and motivated by spending the last 8 years working with seniors, family members, and caregivers Libby is passionate about creating meaningful moments for seniors as well as empowering and educating those caring for a loved one with dementia.
Libby is an active Advanced Professional member of the Aging Life Care Association (formerly the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers),
a Certified Care Manager (CMC), and a PAC Certified Consultant. She holds a Master of Public Health degree and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Libby has worked directly with those affected by dementia for 8 years and believes all individuals, no matter their age or abilities, should live the life they want filled with dignity, purpose and meaning.
